Surface Cert - Basic $250.00
This certification is the simplest cert that we do. It includes a full inspection of the above ground plumbing and electric and running the well for enough time to test well components for function and integrity. This cert is recommended for customers that are purchasing cash or are familiar with the wells in the area. Unlike our other "signature" inspections, no repairs of any sort are performed at the time of inspection. Reports are submitted within 24 hours.
Surface Cert - Signature: $350.00
This certification is the most common of all certs ordered. It is the most comprehensive well inspection in the industry. Our tech will inspect the condition of visible electric, plumbing, tanks and pump controls. Readings are taken of the static water level, water pressure, air pressure, and the load (amps) drawn by the motor when running under normal conditions. In addition, the well is run for two hours and a coliform (E-Coli) bacteria test is taken to the lab the same day. A detailed report with digital photos is delivered to the client the next morning. If the well passes the bacteria test and no deficiencies are noted, the certificate of certification is mailed automatically. Surface Certs contain an automatic "authorization to cure” if the necessary repair is less than $100.00. This ensures that the well is operating at optimum levels at close of escrow. This is the key to our speed and efficiency... One trip can usually do it all!
Full Pull: $825.00
This certification is more detailed and recommended for older homes and homes that have been vacant for long periods of time. It includes all the detailed work of the above Surface Cert plus we pull the well. Photos are taken of the underground plumbing (pump, pipe, wire) and included in the inspection report. Detailed readings are taken of the pump motor and an estimated life expectancy is given based on those readings. This report also includes information on the static water level and total depth of the well. Automatic “authorization to cure” is given for repairs under$275.00. Additional repairs by approval only. Depths exceeding 500 ft require special pricing.
